The Lianshulu establishment is situated along the banks of the Kwando River, on an 800-ha private concession within the Mudumu National Park. It is located approximately 40 km from Kongola, to the west of the C49 main road, after entering Mudumu National Park in the Zambezi Region of Namibia. The lodge establishment occupies a prime location next to the Kwando River, with Botswana on the opposite side of the river.
ECC has been engaged by Burgland Zani Safaris (Pty) Ltd. as the independent Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) to facilitate the entire ESIA process. Prior to the start of the proposed projects, an environmental clearance certificate is required in terms of the Environmental Management Act, 7 of 2007 and the associated EIA Regulations. A final decision relating to the above-mentioned application will be made by Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT): Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA).
